We’ve secured a €10M Series A investment round led by Stride.VC. with participation from Fortino Capital, Acadian Ventures, and prior investors including PMV.

This funding round confirms the strength of our company mission in today's climate of talent shortages.

Everybody wins

Looking back, my co-founders and I have come a long way since founding TechWolf in 2018. More important than what has happened with our company, is what is happening in the world of Human Capital Management.

Back in 2018, Jeroen, Mikaël and I had set out to address a widespread frustration in large enterprises: not knowing the skills and skill gaps across their workforce.

Fast forward to today, the world of work is vastly different from 2018.

It’s also very much the same as the workforce continues to change rapidly. Whether it’s hybrid work, the war for talent or The Great Resignation, there are many challenges for HR teams.

However, one major shift is clear: since we started, skills have firmly established their place on the workplace agenda.

We like to think that our continued efforts to make real-time skills insights available for employees and their leadership teams have brought this on. But, more likely, it’s a case of many forces working together to create a big change.

We’re seeing a new breed of HR and business leaders shift their mindset:

  • from using job titles to describe work, to looking at people’s underlying skills
  • from seeing jobs as static to opening up to a more agile way of working
  • from looking mainly outside in the hunt for new talent, to exploring upskilling and reskilling paths for existing employees

And that’s why the entire TechWolf team is thrilled at what this new funding round means. We get to continue to develop the technology that empowers enterprises to understand and leverage skills in their organisations, and to put people in a position to develop and do the most with their talent.
